E&E Strategy Workshop
This 1.5-day workshop was designed to bring members of the Parsons Energy & Environment group together for an immersive workshop focused on aligning on a shared vision for 2025 and beyond, and identifying the bold steps needed to take to make the vision a reality. Having experienced record growth resulting in increased pressure to top their record, the group focused on working cross-functionally to identify lessons learned and business development challenges. The workshop also provided the group the opportunity to reconnect in person and work together to identify the root causes that have the highest impact to addressing the business pipeline challenges.

The Visoneering team facilitated the workshop and provided graphic recording, guiding the team through context mapping, root-cause analysis, and strategic visioning.

Purpose of the Project:
The goal of this 1.5-day workshop was to align the Energy & Environment group around the root causes that have the highest impact to addressing the group’s business pipeline challenges and setting a strategic vision that would enable them to create a long-term business plan focused on generating new business opportunities while maintaining the quality and excellence that had enabled the group’s record success.
Impact/Outcome:
Over the course of the workshop, the team not only crafted a compelling vision statement and a identified the 5 bold steps needed to make that vision a reality, but also pinpointed the highest impact root causes to address to solve their business pipeline challenges. The workshop additionally produced tangible artifacts for the team, fostering deeper alignment than the traditional PowerPoint slides that the team had been typically accustomed to, leaving the group feeling eager to drive the group’s future success.
